What the Stack owns
A client or model may be integrated. The definition and operation of the AI application remain in Symbia.
AI Agent authority
Issue distinct identities to people, agents, and services. Bind each external action to an explicit capability and delegation context.
Application composition
Catalog components, graphs, executors, assistants, contexts, integrations, artifacts, and approvals as versioned application objects.
Activity chain of custody
Retain the signed application definition, authority, execution path, observed outcome, and gaps in a tamper-evident activity record.
Determinism around the model
Defined application versions
A deployed activity can identify the graph, components, executors, integrations, and configuration that produced it.
Explicit action boundaries
Opening a connection does not grant authority. Capabilities and contracts state what an AI Agent may invoke.
Declared coordination
Routing and handoff are part of the application, rather than invisible glue code around an agent loop.
Observed outcomes
Symbia records what it observed. It does not turn a model’s generated explanation into evidence of an external effect.
Read the release as a release
The public repository is the source for the published Stack. Its STATUS file and defect ledger distinguish working code, incomplete work, and known limits. Check the version and evidence before relying on a capability in production.
