PROVENANCE PACK - mecca-pact-ratification - 2026-08-21
==============================================================

WHAT THIS PACK IS
The catalog records this run wrote, in write order, plus the article
as committed to the symbia-stack repository.

Article commit: cbd1463026a7ad1b9a03e2a098f6bb6e5601da8f
Repository: Symbia-Labs/symbia-stack (articles/)
Pack built: 2026-09-03T11:23:06.532600+00:00

RECORDS INCLUDED: NONE

WHAT COULD NOT BE RECOVERED, AND WHY
No seal bundle carrying this run's catalog records was found on this
machine. Two causes are documented for runs of this period:
  - Runs that wrote to the durable stack could not be sealed at all;
the durable host returns 501 sealing_not_served. Recorded as
    gap-durable-cannot-seal-2026-08-24.
  - Runs that wrote to the imagine sidecar produced records that die
with the host process. Where the bundle is also gone, nothing
    remains.

For this article the ordering claim therefore rests on the repository
commit and the article's own account, not on a retrievable chain.
That is a downgrade and it is stated rather than hidden.

EDITORIAL REVISION, 1 SEPTEMBER 2026
This article was rewritten on 1 September 2026 to remove commentary about
its own production process, which had grown to occupy up to two-thirds of
some pieces. The analytical claims, figures and sources are unchanged; what
was removed was the inline lane tagging, the prediction-and-verdict
narration, and the provenance sections now condensed into a single footer.
The article as originally published is at symbia-stack commit 63163df.
The version included in this pack is the revision, not the original, and
this note exists because silently rewriting published work is the exact
substitution this process is built to catch.

WHAT THIS PACK DOES NOT ESTABLISH
  - That any source cited in the article is correct. A receipt covers
    provenance, not truth.
  - That the author was sincere at registration. The chain closes the
retroactive-edit hole, not the dishonest-author hole.
  - That the records were readable by a stranger at the time. Catalog
records are read-gated, and an unauthenticated GET returns HTTP 200
with an empty array rather than a 403
    (gap-catalog-unauth-read-returns-200-empty-2026-08-25). This pack
    exists because of that.
